Local Press Releases:
St. Cloud residents now have quick access to public records

Submitted by City of St. Cloud
St. Cloud, Fla. – City of St. Cloud established a public records viewing center, or kiosk, May 6 at City Hall (Building A, first floor) to expand the community’s access to public records and compliment the City’s current records accessibility.

“This project was first brought up by City Council members this past December,” said City Manager Tom Hurt. “With the hard work of all involved, the kiosk is now up and running; just five months after it was first discussed. This is a great addition.”
To access the information at the kiosk, the public can simply touch the screen and clear instructions appear on the screen. The public has immediate access to public records, agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, and the City’s Web site, which contains information on all City departments. This new service allows the public to view basic documents. However, requests of more in-depth records can still be forwarded to the appropriate department or City Clerk’s Office.

“This is an extension of our services,” said City Clerk Linda Jaworski. “We are always looking into ways to expand our citizens’ ease of records accessibility.”

For more information on this new public service, please call (407) 957-7300.
