CITY OF KISSIMMEE PREPARES FOR A SERIES OF ROAD CLOSURES IN DOWNTOWN KISSIMMEE


KISSIMMEE, Fla. (February 27, 2009)—The City of Kissimmee Public Works & Engineering Department is announcing a series of road closures in the downtown area.

Lakeshore Boulevard and Clyde Street will be closed at the rail road tracks beginning at 6:00 p.m. from Tuesday, March 3 through Wednesday, March 4. Advanced warning message boards will be placed on either side of the rail road crossing to re-direct drivers and pedestrians.

Ruby Avenue, Monument Avenue, Park Street, and Magnolia Street will be closed at the rail road tracks beginning at 6:00 p.m. from Wednesday, March 4 through Thursday, March 5. Advanced warning message boards and detour signage will be placed on either side of the rail road crossing to re-direct drivers and pedestrians.
